About

Dr. Shannon Becker is a licensed psychologist in Washington State. She conducts high-quality mental health evaluations, including court-ordered evaluations, and provides expert testimony on cases involving competency and civil commitment. Dr. Becker also provides comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning. She holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology as well as a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University. Dr. Becker completed her clinical training in several counseling and psychological assessment environments, including at the Pacific University Counseling Center, Oregon Health and Sciences University, and with private practice clinical psychologists who specialized in psychological and neuropsychological assessments, behavioral diagnostics, and treatment.In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Becker received admission into the Organizational Consulting Track, a specialty training program designed to prepare practitioner-scholars to apply their psychological expertise to the organizational arena. Dr. Becker completed a pre-doctoral internship at Washington State University (WSU) Counseling and Psychological Services, the student mental health center at the second largest institution for higher education in Washington State. After earning her doctorate, Dr. Becker completed a year of post-doctoral training as a faculty psychological resident at WSU, where she taught and supervised doctoral-level psychology students in numerous areas related to counseling and psychological assessment as the Practicum Coordinator. Currently, Dr. Becker maintains a private practice and provides consultation, supervision, and psychological evaluation services to individuals across Washington State.
